Help SEWA Recover from Ahmedabad Bomb BlastsOn July 26th, 18 bombs went off in the crowded markets and civilian areas around Ahmedabad, India, killing 54 and injuring 120 people. Ahmedabad is the home of the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), 1Well’s partner that is dedicated to eradicating poverty through employment and self-reliance. Nine SEWA members and relatives are reported dead and at least 12 injured. Poor families have no safety net, so when a wage earner dies or cannot work, the impact is devastating. Please help the victims rebuild their lives and find full employment by contributing to the Ahmedabad Recovery Fund. DONATE HERE and insert "SEWA" in the comments field.
